Android app development

I build native Android apps with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose — fast, clean and built to last. Whether you need a new app from scratch, new features in an existing one, or a rescue for a codebase that has become hard to maintain, I take your project from idea to Google Play.

What I build

I build native Android apps in Kotlin with Jetpack Compose, Google’s modern toolkit for Android interfaces. That covers:

  • New apps from scratch: consumer apps, business tools and internal apps, designed for your users and published on Google Play.

  • Feature development: new screens and flows in an existing app, such as onboarding, authentication, profiles, payments or media players.

  • Real-time and media features: live streaming, video replay, live scores and push notifications.

  • Accounts and security: OTP registration, password recovery and secure session handling.

  • Modernization: migrating older XML-based apps to Jetpack Compose, cleaning up architecture and fixing performance issues.

  • Cross-platform when it fits: if you need Android and iOS on a tight budget, I also build with Flutter.

Every app follows a clean architecture (MVVM, Hilt, StateFlow), so it stays easy to maintain and extend after launch.

How a project runs

  1. Discovery: We talk about your goals, your users and your budget. I ask questions until the scope is clear.

  2. Quote and plan: You receive a written quote with the features, the milestones and the timeline.

  3. Design and build: I develop the app in short iterations and send you test builds regularly, so you can try it on your phone and give feedback early.

  4. Testing: I test on different screen sizes and Android versions and fix issues before release.

  5. Launch: I prepare the Google Play listing and handle the publication with you.

  6. After launch: I stay available for fixes, updates and new features.

Frequently asked questions

How much does an Android app cost?
It depends on the number of screens, features and integrations. After a short call, I send you a detailed quote so you know the cost before anything starts.

How long does it take?
A simple app can take a few weeks; a larger app with accounts, payments or real-time features takes longer. The timeline is in the quote, broken down by milestone.

Native Android or Flutter?
Native Kotlin gives the best performance and full access to Android features. Flutter is a good choice if you need Android and iOS from one codebase on a tighter budget. I’ll recommend whichever fits your project.

Can you work on my existing app?
Yes. I can add features, fix bugs, improve performance or migrate an older app to Jetpack Compose. I start by reviewing the code so we agree on what needs to change.

Do you publish the app on Google Play?
Yes. I prepare the build and the store listing and handle the publication with you, using your developer account so the app stays yours.

Do you work with clients outside Morocco?
Yes. I’m based in Agadir and already work remotely with European clients, in French or English.
