The problem
Moroccan lawyers spend a large part of their day on administrative work rather than legal work. Case files, hearing dates, documents and client follow-ups are often scattered across paper folders, spreadsheets and messaging apps, which makes it easy to lose track of a deadline or a case’s history. Firms with several members also have little visibility into who did what, which is a real concern when handling confidential client information. On top of that, legal research means digging through Moroccan legislation and case law by hand, and general-purpose AI tools don’t know Moroccan law well enough to be trusted.
The solution
I built Legma.ai, a SaaS platform designed around the daily work of a Moroccan law firm. Lawyers can follow every legal case from start to finish in one place, with its history and status always up to date. A firm management module lets the head of the firm organize the team and run the practice from the same tool. To protect sensitive data, I built a security and audit system that tracks every action each firm member takes, so the firm always knows who accessed or changed what. The platform also includes a dedicated AI assistant trained on Moroccan legal data, giving lawyers fast, relevant answers grounded in local law instead of generic advice. I handled the entire project myself, from development through to production deployment.
The result
Legma.ai gives law firms a single workspace for their cases, their team and their legal research. Lawyers spend less time on admin and searching, firm owners have full traceability over sensitive client files, and the AI assistant puts Moroccan legal knowledge one question away.
